For many years I maintained a regular blog in which I covered a broad range of topics. Each title was a line from a song.
I still blog but my main focus is on a book I am writing. It is called 'Who Do I Say That I Am?' and the title of this site is basically my response to that question.
I will provide some extracts through this site and you are welcome to explore the wordpress site on which they will be published.
When I was 18 I bought myself an Olympus OM10 SLR camera. I have loved photography ever since.
I now own a Canon EOS 100D digital SLR camera and a Samsung S9 phone. If I am honest I use the phone more than the camera but there is something about taking a camera out that makes the photography the activity rather than an after thought.
I won't post every picture, just the ones that I think you might like but there will be access to my Google Photo public space if you want to see more.
I once joked to Anne that I would buy her a bread maker for her birthday. She hates getting kitchen stuff as a gift so I never went through with it.
My daughter Katy must have heard this as she bought me the equipment to enable me to make bread thus becoming Anne's bread maker.
I now bake whenever I can, usually once a week or fortnight. I will post some images of the bakes as well as any tips I have picked up over the years.
I play the guitar and have done for many years. I am not particularly good but it is something I enjoy.
I have a MAC and consequently have access to Garageband. What a brilliant piece of software this is. I remember having a Tascam 4 track cassette recorder in my youth but it was just too difficult to get anything good out of it.
Garageband does simplify the process but is no guarantee of quality.
I will post finished pieces as well as work in progress and you can visit my Soundcloud page if you want to hear more.
Seven Deadly Bins
A depiction of the Seven Deadly Sins using wheelie bins.
The bins are not arranged, this in entirely how I find them.
There are currently only 4, check back for additions after bin day
More Like My Hobby
My real work, or paid employment, is IT. At the weekends I like to dabble in other pursuits.
This site contains the fruit of those activities. I shall update the links once a week so please book mark the page and come back to take a look
I will not be asking for any subscription or patronage to fund the site or my work.
I will also not be monitoring the visits or seeking any feedback
